Inconel 600 has the following characteristics:

4. Good mechanical properties at minus, room temperature and high temperature
5. With good creep rupture strength, recommended for use in more than 700 ℃working environment.

Inconel 600 is a face-centered cubic lattice structure.

Corrosion resistance of Inconel 600:
600 alloys are corrosion resistant to a wide range of corrosive media.The chromium composition makes the alloy more resistant to corrosion than nickel 99.2 (alloy 200) and nickel 99.2 (alloy 201, low carbon) under oxidation conditions.At the same time, the high nickel content makes the alloy have good corrosion resistance in the reduction condition and alkaline solution, and can effectively prevent the chlorine-iron stress corrosion cracking.600 alloy in acetic acid, acetic acid, formic acid, stearic acid and other organic acids have good corrosion resistance, in the inorganic acid has a moderate corrosion resistance.Excellent corrosion resistance in high-purity water used in a nuclear reactor for one and two cycles.600 particularly outstanding performance is able to resist the corrosion of dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride, the application temperature of 650 ℃.At high temperatures, annealing and solution-treated alloys have good anti-oxidative spalling properties and high strength in the air. The alloy can also resist ammonia and nitriding, carburizing atmosphere, but in the alternating oxidation and reduction conditions, the alloy will be affected by some of the oxidation medium corrosion (such as green Death liquid).

Inconel 600 Process performance and requirements:
Thermal processing
1. Hot processing temperature range 1200℃~900℃, cooling mode is water quenching or rapid air cooling.
2. Get the best corrosion resistance and the most suitable crystal structure, heat treatment after hot processing.
3. The material can be fed directly into the heated furnace.

Cold processing
1. Cold processing materials should be annealed or solid solution heat treatment State, 600 alloy processing hardening rate and austenitic stainless steel close, so you can choose similar processing equipment.
2. Intermediate annealing should be carried out during the cold processing amount.
3. When the amount of cold processing is greater than 5%, the workpiece will need to be treated with solid solution.
4. In order to reduce material wear, the mold should be selected alloy tool steel, cemented carbide or cast steel.

Inconel600 Welding Process:
Alloy welding performance is good, can be used arc welding, argon arc welding, resistance welding and brazing and other methods of connection, large or complex welded structural parts after fusion welding should be in 870 ℃annealing 1h, to eliminate the welding stress.

Heat treatment process of Inconel600 parts:
